AMPM is a great name because we have called them out both day and night. I used to try to do the heating equipment repair myself but I really didn’t know what I was doing. It’s great knowing that Paul and his technicians can come out and fix my attempts at heating and ac maintenance etc. Now I call them first because they are a much more qualified and experienced ac contractor than I am and can handle all of our hvac repairs promptly and effectively! My wife and I just moved here from Aurora and didn’t really know anyone in Chicago yet. When we needed heating repair when our boiler service went out, we asked our new neighbors who they used and they said AM/PM Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors Inc. We called this company and two others I found online and I have to say AM/PM were head and shoulders above the rest. They answered their phone, offered to come out the same day, had reasonable rates and seemed very knowledgeable, asking all of the right questions. They executed our heating repair service with ease and although they recommended a new boiler heating installation, they didn’t try to hard sell us on heating sales which we really appreciated. I feel like we have found our new HVAC company!

AM/PM Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors Inc were first referred to us by my brother when we were looking for a residential heating company to do an emergency furnace repair. They had just done a boiler repair for him and my brother couldn’t stop going on about what a great job they had done. So, long story short we called Paul and he was just great. He tackled the furnace service like a pro – he arrived on time, had all of the parts and equipment he needed and got it up and running in the one friendly visit. Later that year when we needed an air conditioning repair when our ac unit went out, it was only natural that we call them again. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t push the ‘air conditioning sales’ topic like they could have as we have an old unit and know we are looking at a new air conditioning installation soon. They just got to work fixing it and keeping us cool the rest of the summer. If you need any kind of mechanical / hvac repairs or maintenance, and want honest and upright service, call these guys. They even do all of their own sheet metal.

Have an old Sear’s and Roebuck boiler that was popping the emergency valve at high pressure. So I called AM/PM based off google search. I liked how Paul asked questions over the phone to make sure he understood the issue before coming over to the house. He and Drew walked me through everything they did and gave me an education on what they were doing and why. They replaced the expansion tank and feeder as well as the surrounding piping and went as far as to cap off a natural gas pipe that was shut off at the valve but had an open end without a cap. Paul understood that I wanted to keep the thing running as long as I could and he didn’t try to push anything extra on me. Excellent guys to work with, pricing wasn’t bad and I will definitely recommend and re-call when this old unit finally keels over.
